The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

I have been doing accent work with Drama Centre's Group 48, who are in rehearsal for their next final year show- The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. It's been a very exciting project to research accents for. So often as a dialect coach, Standard accents are the order of the day- RP, General American etc, particularly at Drama School... but here is a chance to give some very different voices the opportunity to tell their stories. The chance to research accents from a wide range of diasporic New York communities, and to look at the idiolects of some public figures has been a great challenge for the students, who are doing some stunningly nuanced, consistent work. Looking forward to the production! You can book your tickets here
