My latest international escapade was a wonderful trip to Delhi, India to give a talk at The British Council. My wonderful publishers, Collins have opened a new market, selling to India, and brought me for a visit to celebrate! I spoke at the British Council's gorgeous building in New Delhi, which was live streamed to other Council offices accross India. Here is a link to the video.
It's been a while since I've blogged, and here's my excuse: I've never been busier! Term is underway at RADA, and I'm working on quite a few other projects too. One very exciting one has been a trip to Argentina for the British Council last month.
I'm very excited to be giving a talk for the British Council on Thursday of this week with my dear colleague and co-author Sarah Shepherd. The event is about the 'politics of pronunciation, and it's taking place at the British Council HQ on Thursday evening. There's still a chance to register to attend in person, I think. Or if you're not in London you can sign up to watch it via the livestream, where you'll be able to ask your questions via tweet. Or if you miss it, you can watch it after the event too.
